  Problem def ini tion In the printing and packaging industry flexographic printing technique is widely used for the production of various types of printed products, which has a number of advantages: a large range of printing materials, profitability in a wide range of circulation, the creation of promotional products and labels manufacturing. The use of flexography for journals printing has shown its competitiveness with web and sheet printing techniques [1, 3]. A number of new technologies and materials have been developed, in particular, solid photo-polymerization materials, direct laser engraving of printing plates, laser technologies with the use of masked photopolymers which have increased the quality of gradual tone transferring, the accuracy of the shaded elements reproduction, reducing the dot gain of printing elements that enhance the quality of printed products. The inking devices of flexographic printing presses based on the anilox ink feeding roller do not have the mechanisms for adjusting the zonal ink supply; therefore they do not provide constant ink thickness on the imprint surface, which restricts their u is not constant and it depends on the interval of tone transferring. Taking this into consideration, the modeling of flexographic halftone reproduction transferring of rasterized image with a change in the ink thickness on the tone transferring interval is an actual task. Processes of tone transferring that occur in flexographic printing systems are complex and caused by the circulation of direct and reverse ink flows, modulated by a rasterized image of printing plate [8].
