Modern technology of receiving wire from non-plastic aluminum alloys


  In this work the modern technology of receiving wire from non-plastic aluminum alloys has been shown. This materials are used in the manufacture of electrical wire and welding wire. Unfortunately manufacturing process of this wires is complicated and consisted of many technological operations. Proponent technology reducing the number of intermediate annealings and cause the improvement mechanical properties of wires. W pracy pokazano nową metodę otrzymywania drutów z trudno odkształcanych stopów aluminium. Materiały te są wykorzystywane w produkcji drutu elektrycznego i spawalniczego. Niestety proces wytwarzania tych drutów jest skomplikowany i składa się z wielu operacji. Zaproponowana technologia umożliwia zmniejszenie liczby wyżarzań międzyoperacyjnych oraz przyczynia się do poprawy własności mechanicznych drutów. This technology also could be apply for other deformable aluminum alloys with using traditional methods of extruding billet at the horizontal hydraulic presses with followed drawing wire. However the most efficiency for production represents technology that developed in the context of low-tech alloys with low-level plastic properties and labor-intensive process of treatment. Such alloys include, for example aluminumsilicon alloys series 4ХХХ containing silicon from 5 to 12%.
